In medicine, you barely have enough time for TV. In surgery, you barely have enough time to eat and sleep. Not for me.

Although taking this monster out of someone's neck is pretty cool

  1. I'm surprised you had enough time to post.

  2. My wife is an Internist and is VERY UNHAPPY!

Problems that are only increasing are:

    1. Political BS
    2. Paperwork
    3. Patient Demands

Trust me, sticking fingers in peoples AS! and hearing patients bitc! and complain 5 days a week with ever increasing paperwork and governmental demands and requirements on your time will serve only to make you very insensitive to your patients and very eager to get the Hel! out of clinical medicine at your earliest opportunity.
